Tim Russert gave our city a face and a voice, and there was no greater Buffalo supporter. Tim Russert was honest and decent and hardworking – Tim Russert was Buffalo, and Tim was Buffalo’s favorite son. His loss is felt acutely by all who knew him and by so many who never had the pleasure of meeting him.
Tim Russert is a perfect example of the people of Western New York. It is hard to believe that he has been gone for a year now.
