About the Como Restaurant
The Como Restaurant…A tradition as popular as “The Falls” itself! Francesco Antonacci came to America from Italy as many immigrants did-young, eager and ambitious but, with little more than a dream to sustain him. Struggling through the coal fields of Pennsylvania, he often thought of the joys and pleasure of meal-times in his native Italy, and dreamed of recreating part of this warm atmosphere in his adopted country.
He moved to Niagara Falls, N.Y. in the early twenties and in 1927, the dream came alive when he opened the original Como Restaurant, specializing in Italian cuisine prepared in the true old world manner, where every dish is a reflection of the cooking artistry of the chef.
Details of the Happy Hour
This is our second Happy Hour at the Como and we are proud to bring our Happy Hour back! Anyone can come, it is a cash bar and the Como will be putting out a selection of food for us to sample. We do ask that you bring a personal hygiene item (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc) for our local shelters… Questions? Email us at niagararises@yahoo.com for more information.
