Talk about Chasing the Market down!  Orginally Listed for $249,000.  The home was completely renovated and I originally wrote about this home for sale back on June 19, 2008.   On March 9, 2009 I wrote about this home as it was still for sale.   I was reviewing old posts and came across it today August 1, 2010, so I did a little checking and discovered that it has been listed on the MLS–for awhile.   Here is the information on the home:

Like many other For Sale By Owners, there is no advertising other than a sign out front. I had a very nice conversation with the owner of 74 Mariner Street offered assistance and he said “I have done this before, I know what I am doing.”  That is good, because he is missing some great opportunities to advertise his home for sale.

Like myself, there are many Buffalonians living in places like Pheonix AZ, Las Vegas NV and Naples FL that miss Buffalo.  They have traveled the United States and probably the world.  They want to come back to Buffalo and are searching on the Internet.  Allentown is exactly the type of place these people desire. Guess what if you do not advertise your home to them they will never see it!  With gas prices reaching $4 a gallon there are those that work in the city and live in Niagara county that are thinking twice about where they are living.  They are looking on the internet to accomplish this goal!
