What do Great Artists and For Sale By Owners have in common?

Artists, both famous and not, use Art Galleries to present their work to the right audience. They focus their time on what they do great which is to produce the works in the first place. Many of these galleries take 40-60% of the sale as their part in presenting, advertising and handling the many details of selling a piece of work.

What has happened in the art world is that the Internet has made art more accessible. With that why is it that Galleries are increasing in popularity? Because the artist knows how to maximize their time and put it to the highest and best use.

Hope for those that are underwater with their mortgages

Is your house worth less then what you owe on your mortgage? If so, the term that defines this is called an underwater mortgage or some also call it upside down and you are not alone, nearly 1 in 6 homeowners find themselves in this position today. Underwater mortgages are mortgage arrangements that effectively leave the owner with more debt on the property than the current market value. Generally, an underwater mortgage situation does not arise when a buyer takes out a first mortgage. The condition tends to arise when a second or third mortgage is taken out, or if factors within the area cause the property to depreciate in value unexpectedly

Colleen Kulikowski in the News…

Yesterday there was a great article about Niagara Homecoming in the Buffalo News Niagara Section, featuring Colleen Kulikowski. While Colleen is focusing on this event over the next four days, you can call her team at RealtyUSA for assistance:

Mary Buchner (716) 481-8922

Rick Glogowski (716) 984-8208

Mary Fishburne (716) 867-8767

Wendy Syed (716) 866-2762

Colleen Kulikowski, a real estate agent who helped connect Niagara Rises to Buffalo Homecoming, said the group tried to make sure its events would “dovetail” rather than compete with a weekend lineup of activities planned in Buffalo.

Kulikowski, a Niagara County native, was among the region’s expatriates before she moved back to Western New York after living outside New York City and then in Florida for 21 years.

Since she returned, Kulikowski has been an active booster for both Niagara Falls and Buffalo Homecoming. When she and Croisdale approached Niagara Rises members last fall with the idea of bringing the homecoming to Niagara Falls, she said, it “absolutely energized” the group.

The idea came on the heels of a “Good Morning America” segment on Niagara Falls in which the national morning television show contrasted the boarded up buildings on Main Street with the bustle of Niagara Falls, Ont.
