An Indoor Stadium in Niagara Falls?
Now here is an interesting idea that I read:
Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly has an idea to financially save his old team: Build a stadium in Niagara Falls. On the American side, of course. Kelly floated his idea while stumping for the Bills with other alumni in Toronto where the Bills defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday in a preseason NFL game.
A stadium centrally located in Niagara Falls would make the team appealing to the three cities the Bills are depending on to remain viable in a league team officials claim has become too expensive to operate in: Toronto, Buffalo and Rochester. “Maybe a new stadium is in the future, in Niagara Falls, so it’s less a drive for the people from up here,” Kelly said.
I knew I liked Jim Kelly. He thinks big and beyond what is.  Those that live in Orchard Park might not like the idea, but look at the great things that could happen if the Bills built an indoor stadium in Niagara Falls. Who knows done right it could position Western New York for a bit at hosting an upcoming Olympics. Â
Oops, there I go dreaming big again!
