Description: Visions of Greater Buffalo is a unique biennial endeavor that highlights the people and places of Western New York with images created by 100 of its most interesting and influential community members. CEPA is thrilled to have the participation of some exceptional individuals who play key roles in Buffalo, including the County Executive, medical professionals, attorneys, community organizers, environmentalists, educators, and many more. CEPA provides each participant with a single-use camera and asks that they document their lives and surroundings. A selection committee chooses one photograph from each participant that is then featured in a diverse exhibition at CEPA Gallery that highlights the best and brightest of Western New York. The project culminates with a festive celebration and silent auction, creating an opportunity for Western New Yorkers to come together, mingle with the participants, and purchase unique works of art in support of CEPA Gallery’s education programs. h/c access, $
