Last month there was a gathering of people in Niagara Falls.  I know about this because I helped organize this event with my fellow Niagara Rises members.   We shared with the 85 people in attendance at the Crowne Plaza hotel our exciting plans for Niagara Homecoming that will take place June 25-28, 2009.

Want to be part of the fun?   Join us on March 5th at the Como Restaurant located in the heart of Niagara Falls at the Como Restaurant.   5-7pm.

Many of you may not realize that Niagara Homecoming is a series of firsts.   It is the first time that another festival is expanding, Buffalo Homecoming has been running successfully for the last three years.   Thanks to my friend, Marti Gorman, this event has evolved into a larger, more regional event.   Buffalo and Niagara Falls are joining hands and celebrating all that is wonderful here in Western New York.

It was wonderful to see so many folks that came to share with each other their hopes and dreams for a better Niagara Falls.    Sorry you missed the great time?   Well you have time to plan to attend the next “Still Falling for the Falls” event on March 5th at the iconic Como Restaurant on Pine Avenue.

Want to get involved with Niagara Homecoming?   Join our next meeting on March 24th at the Days Inn in Niagara Falls!   We meet at 6pm and we are looking for a few good volunteers to start planning the details of the events that will happen in Niagara Falls and Buffalo during the weekend of June 25-28, 2009.   There are lots of little jobs that we would like assistance with.   One is writing for the Niagara Rises blog!
