Quick Facts about the Rainbow Bridge:
- Construction began on May 4, 1940
- Span of the bridge is 950 Feet
- Approximately 3500 tons of steel were used
- There was no loss of life during construction due to life nets set up.
- The Rainbow Bridge officially opened Novermber 1, 1941.
