Troubled housing market or not, the largest home subdivision in years in Erie and Niagara counties is moving forward — a 400- acre behemoth in Clarence where homes will start at $200,000, but plenty will be priced at close to $1 million. Target buyers are well-off empty nesters and the financially thriving grown children of baby boomers. This target group is one of the largest growing demographic builders are building new homes for as the ability to build affordable homes for first time buyers is becoming increasingly difficult.
