Colleen Kulikowski named to Reader’s Nominees for Inman News Award

Colleen Kulikowski was named to the list of nominees for the Inman News annual “People’s Choice” award yesterday for her influence on the Real Estate Industry.    Inman News is the real estate industry’s most authoritative source of market conditions, business trends, technology, real estate and financial news.    Colleen now needs your vote for the “People’s Choice” award.

Inman News wants you to pick one individual who you think has made an impact on the real estate industry. Please scroll through the alphabetical list of reader nominees below and make one selection. Vote only once.

One individual will be recognized as the “People’s Choice” based on a popular vote of Inman News readers. That individual will be announced in the annual Inman News 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders list, also known as the Inman 100, which will be published later this year.

The list recognizes those whose voices and actions have the power to change the industry. Among them are individuals who embody strength, common sense, innovation, ingenuity, perseverance and progress. They include the industry’s brain trust and dealmakers, and those outside the industry who impact the business of buying and selling homes.

This year, Inman News is combining separate lists of real estate’s most influential leaders and real estate’s most influential online (which includes bloggers and others) as a single list of the top 100 leaders. Please make your People’s Choice selection by Monday, Nov. 15, 2010.

Today it is important that the Realtor you select to sell your home is knowledgeable with the latest technologies and can maximize your exposure on the Internet.    It is no longer the newspaper that will get your home sold, it will be the Internet.    Since most buyers are web savvy, they use the Internet to communicate with their Real Estate Agent.   To all those that are wondering what to do with all this social networking & bookmarking sites, here is a brief reason why you should get involved.  It gets your message out.  It connects you with who you are targeting.

There is nobody in Western New York Real Estate Industry that is more Internet connected then Colleen Kulikowski.   Colleen serves on the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors Technology committee and has taught several technology classes at the Board to assist her fellow Realtors navigate the complex Internet world.   Kulikowski joined Best Buffalo Homes earlier this summer because she needed support for her growing business generated from her Internet presence.   One of the many reasons she came here was because Best Buffalo Homes believed in Technology and our Agent Focused Systems.   This is not more evident then by the fact that one in five of the nominees in this list are Best Buffalo Homes Agents.    “Internet Marketing is new to many agents and those who capitalize on effective internet marketing offer a huge advantage to their customer.”  “Leads, Listings and Leverage, until you get those right, everything else is a distraction.” Says Gary Keller, Chairman of the Board Best Buffalo Homes Realty.
