Grand Island is situated in the northwest corner of Erie county in New York. The town has a total area of 33.3 square miles and it completely located on the island of Grand Island. Grand Island is just north of Buffalo and south of Niagara Falls. There are two sets of bridges that link Grand Island to the Town of Tonawanda (South Grand Island Bridge) and to the City of Niagara Falls (North Grand Island Bridge).

Major points of interest on Grand Island include: Beaver Island State park, Buckhort Island State Park, Grand Island Nike Base, Grand Island Rod & Gun Club, Martin’s Fantasy Island, River Lea Farmhouse, Veterans Park and Woods Creek.
